Tool support requires the appropriate API integration; a supported tool is not automatically active in every chat.
Supported API features and tools
Streaming responses
Function calling and structured outputs
Web search and file search
Code interpreter and hosted shell
Computer use and image generation tools
MCP, tool search, skills, and apply patch
Before you choose
No native audio or video support.
Image generation requires a tool; native output is text.
Fine-tuning is not supported.
Choose the reasoning effort
lowmedium · defaulthighxhighmax
Start with medium and evaluate your own examples. Increase the effort for difficult, multi-step work; use a lower setting when response time matters more. Higher effort can take longer and use more tokens—it does not replace checking the result.
Unsupported settings: none, minimal.
Tool calling requires the Responses API. Chat Completions is supported without tools.
API rate limits depend on your usage tier; the free API tier is not supported.

Workflow 01
Review a code change
Give the model the relevant code, intended behavior, and a clear review boundary.
Review this diff against the acceptance criteria below. Identify concrete bugs and edge cases, cite the affected functions, and suggest the smallest safe fix. Separate confirmed problems from questions. End with the tests you would run. Do not rewrite unrelated code.
Workflow 02
Turn evidence into a decision brief
Use supplied documents as evidence, with explicit citations and visible uncertainty.
Using only the documents I provide, compare these three options against cost, implementation effort, and operational risk. Cite the document and section for each claim. Flag missing evidence instead of filling gaps. Finish with a one-page recommendation and the questions we should resolve first.
Workflow 03
Inspect a product screenshot
Ask for a focused visual review and validate any suggested changes yourself.
Review this screenshot of our signup page. Identify unclear labels, visual hierarchy issues, and likely small-screen problems. Separate what you can see from what needs an interactive test. Prioritize three changes and describe how we could verify each one without redesigning the whole page.

OpenAI API pricing
These are OpenAI API reference prices, not EZ Ai Assist subscription prices.
Above 272,000 input tokens, long-context rates apply to the entire request, not just the tokens above the threshold.
Fast costs 2× Standard. Batch and Flex cost 50% of Standard. Tool usage can add fees.
Regional processing adds 10% where available. Fast is not available with EU data residency.
Prices can change. Confirm the current rate and service tier in OpenAI’s pricing documentation before estimating API spend.
Common questions
A few things worth knowing.
When should I compare Sol with Astra?
OpenAI positions Sol as a lower-cost option for demanding work. Test it against Astra on representative examples when extra reasoning quality could change the outcome. Compare accuracy, response time, and total cost rather than relying on a model name alone.
Does a large context window guarantee a better answer?
No. It allows more material in a request, but you still need relevant evidence, a clear question, and a way to check the result. For a long document task, request citations and review them against the original material.
Can I use these example prompts in EZ Ai Assist?
Use them as starting points and adapt them to the inputs and controls available in the app. Include only information you are authorized to share. The examples are editorial suggestions, not benchmark results or a promise of a particular outcome.
Are the API prices my EZ Ai Assist plan price?
No. The reference table describes direct OpenAI API usage. EZ Ai Assist subscriptions are separate; visit our pricing page for the current plans.
